Winter Christmas mouse watercolor painting.

GALLERY

All of my works are gathered in one place, watercolor as well as old acrylic paintings and line art/pen drawings/ink illustrations, not to mention gouache which I am still very much learning, and I am enjoying it a lot!

watercolor/mixed media

One of my favorite old paintings is the painting “DENIAL.” It’s a painting about a man being pulled apart until he no longer has a human form. His eyes are closed and there’s a shadow over his face indicating how he is in denial about what is happening to him. This way he stays in peace, in denial. Now one of my favorite things to paint are domestic cats and wild, big cats! You will see a lot of my works centered around this and animals in general. I have also dived more and more into portrait work and landscapes, as I want to get better.

gouache

I started using gouache a couple years ago and I love it. “GLOW” is a piece of a bunny taking a stroll through a sunlit forest path. This piece is covered in an evening glow that is only for the animals to enjoy, far away from the busy and noisy cities and human life. It’s a little peace of heaven. As I am ever so slowly diving more and more into gouache I am finding myself loving it more by the minute! However I am still learning with every painting that I make.

acrylic

One of my favorite acrylic paintings is the orange mountain standing tall in between the autumn trees. With a big love for mountains I just HAD to paint this. It is the second mountain I ever painted and I became addicted to painting mountains as I find them very beautiful and a key part of nature. As I don’t do much acrylic work anymore however, these are all older works.

line work/pen drawings/ink illustrations

One of the first ever line art pieces that I made was “FOREST KING,” a man with a tree crown on his head while nature has grown into his very body. It began without any line shading and details. About a year later I came back to it and finished it! Ever since then I have gotten much more practice using my fineliners, and it’s one of my favorite things to dive into. I especially enjoy creating animal illustrations.
